Asian stock markets experienced significant declines on Wednesday after Wall Street stocks fell and global bond sell-offs intensified.

Tokyo's Nikkei 225 index dropped by 3% to 64,278.95, while SoftBank Group, a major Japanese investment firm involved with OpenAI, saw its shares fall by 6.3%.

South Korea's Kospi index also decreased by 3.6%, closing at 6,588.95 amid growing investor concerns.

U.S. futures markets reflected similar downward trends, indicating widespread unease as bond yields rose sharply around the world.
