Cleveland's baseball team, the Guardians, fell short again in the American League Championship Series. They lost Game 6 to Tampa Bay with a score of 7-3.

This defeat means Cleveland has now gone 78 years without winning a World Series title, with their last championship dating back to 1948.

Despite strong fan support and competitive seasons, the city’s major league franchise has yet to secure a championship in nearly eight decades.

The Guardians showed effort throughout the series but were unable to overcome Tampa Bay’s performance in the decisive game.

Fans in Cleveland will have to wait at least another season to see if their team can break the long-standing title drought.
