The Kremlin announced that the first tanker carrying Russian diesel has set sail for the United States under a new import agreement.

This shipment comes two weeks after President Donald Trump disclosed a deal with President Vladimir Putin, despite Russia's ongoing invasion of Ukraine.

According to the Kremlin, regular deliveries of diesel to US customers will continue as part of this agreement.

The move has drawn protests from Ukraine, which opposes the import of Russian fuel amid the conflict.

Nevertheless, the Kremlin maintains that the trade deal is proceeding as planned, ensuring a steady supply of diesel.
