Mayor Johnson Faces Challenges to Nomination Petitions

Mayor Brandon Johnson is currently facing challenges to his nominating petitions in the race for re-election. This marks the first time since 2007 that an incumbent mayor has had their petitions contested.

Other candidates running for mayor are also experiencing similar challenges to their petitions. These disputes highlight the competitive nature of this election cycle.

The challenges could affect the final list of candidates appearing on the ballot, making the upcoming election more uncertain.
