Oil prices fell slightly on Thursday, with Brent crude trading close to $95 a barrel after recent increases sparked by tensions between the U.S. and Iran.

Asian stock markets moved higher, following the positive trend seen on Wall Street. U.S. futures also experienced modest gains.

Earlier in the week, renewed conflict between the U.S. and Iran had pushed oil prices up sharply.

However, U.S. President Donald Trump stated he does not expect further bombings, which helped ease concerns and contributed to cautious optimism in the markets.
